In the Park at Noon, 2020

oil sticks, oil, spray paint, plastic cast, 36x24x2.5”

Every day since March 2020 I have been relentlessly walking through the many parks near my apartment here in New York. These walks have been my respite, my slice of freedom, from Covid-19 concerns. It seems the warmer the city became the more people sought refuge in these beautiful parks. I’ve enjoyed every minute of sketching and observing them in peace.
