Begin Diorama invites you to peer inward—literally and metaphorically. Built as a two-layered shadow box, its cut-out figures cast shifting shadows that move with the light in the room. At first glance, it’s a symmetrical design. But spend a moment with it, and the shapes begin to feel like something more intimate: a quiet reunion, a coming back into alignment.

The space between the layers holds a kind of pause—a breath between who you were and who you’ve become. The negative space creates both distance and definition, echoing the way we sometimes lose ourselves in the shuffle of life, only to return clearer and more whole.

This piece is about beginning again. About the small, profound relief of finally feeling like yourself again.
